:nau:

anyone else listen to the latest club rugby podcast?

Lachie Turner was on and saying how much TPN does for the Parramatta club. With their first grade coach Mark Hartil walking out, TPN is now co-coach. He is now also on the club board and has secured them sponsors already. He also, every match, chucks a couple of 100 bucks on the bar for the Parra boys.

What an absolute champion.

Its guys like him, Pocock and Genia we can build a pretty amazing Wallaby team out of.

Let's get something on the front-page (blog) and try to get it on the ARU site. He deserves some really good recognition.

anyone got a contact with him? It'd be great to do a in depth Q&A specifically about Parra, what he's doing for them and what he thinks they need.

That is a heart warming thing to read and only raises him in my opinion. He is precisely the kind of bloke you can build a team around.

Scotty, tell us a bit about what Big Kev does. As said above, these stories are gold. I remember Reg earlier in the year posting about Quade at Souths junior games.

Here is Big Kev getting very excited at the UQ rugby match. This is what he generally does when he can't be on the field helping the lads. A genuine champion.

#1 Tah

Chilla Wilson (44)
Taf is a bloody legend, and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. every time I see him, he always shakes my hand warmly and asks how my family is. He always calls my dad "Mr." and when he asked Taf to call him by his first name i quote: "I cant."

When he isnt playing through a dud ankle, scrumaging on one foot or getting knocked out trying to tackle Jerry Yanayanatawa, he is either playing piano or bass, or speaking english, tongan, or japanese, or studying robotics.

What a legend.

Cheers Tranquility and Scotty. He impressed me the way he resigned with the Reds without fuss during their turmoil to try and bring stability. I am a big Horwill fan.

Just send him a message on facebook? You can still do it without needing to be 'friends' with the guy.

might be able to search for him and send him a personal message on facebook, they have contacts at parra rugby club on thier website, i offered them a logo and they declined (bastards), but im sure if hes that nice a guy you could get onto him through there.

i heard about all that stuf he was doing before, comes across (never met him) as a really nice guy just across the web. obviously an awesome human being, apparently supports his family really well and is supposedly really into his studies.

sorry for the long post, just got back from two days without the internet.
