The Yellow Card Poll

May I just point out to all the frantic voters in the latest poll that Burger is out for the season and until last week was considered almost no chance for TRC anyway.

Apparently 92+19 people didn't know this. I guess this goes back to the journalism (or lack thereof) thread as another example of what we have to put up with.

On a side note there is a chance that Bakkies is coming back so you might want to add him in or just sub him in for Schulk and be done with it. :)

You can be awarded an "off field yellow card" right? I've never understood what they were about but now I get it. They are for times when Schalk isn't actually playing. He can still be yellowed. ;)

Can I also add that the 68 people who voted for Ali Williams at no. 2 might perhaps wish to reconsider since due to injury he is a possible starter for only the last two tests (and unlikely for even them).

As Scoey mentions above, I don't think this is quite what SANZAR meant by the introduction of the Off-Field Yellow Card.

And to add to the above 45+46 people are kidding themselves if they think Richie McCaw will see any colour card this year. Remember everyone he is the holder of the Cloak of invisibility! Not even death can see that guy! All he needs now is the Elder Wand and the resurrection stone and he will be ready to take on voldermort. Who Needs Potter when you have McCaw. Your a Wizard Richie!

Let me also add that S Fainga'a has been added to the Wallaby squad, and I'm sure he'll attract at least one yellow card if he gets on the field.......

Yeah pretty sure it wasn't meant for Ali Williams. It was a rule designed exclusively for Schalk. Helps them meet the yellow card KPI's at times of "Schalk Injury". :D

You really really don't like Saia do you Slim. Did he pick on you at school or something? Or is it just the fact that he left the Brumbies for your other pet hate, the Reds?

Meh, I have no hate for either

My only problem with S Fainga'a is that he makes up for his lack of physicality and usefulness in the set piece by being a grub

It works for the Reds in Super Rugby but he's a liability for the Wallabies if he takes the field

How many cards has McCaw had in his career in various comps? I'd love to know that stat.

Two, three, four at a puuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Shalk has cleaned up his act too. If the poll was "who will get the first YC", Nonu would be an unbackable favourite. He will come of the bench and no arm tackle someone in the first game.

If Slim is like me, any dislike I have for Saia is based purely on his playing ability...

For me it's the high pitched screech that he emits when he thinks the opposition line out should be thrown. Dogs and deaf people can't stand it, neither can I.

For the yellow card, I agree it will probably be an Argentine forward, or an AB prop or an Australian because he sure as hec deserved it. Am I right folks, yeah I'm right.

I have noticed that he seems to be getting involved in a lot of off the ball stuff, and silly cheap shots, rugby league style. Did he play that when younger?

Sooner or later he is going to get found out and carded.
