Trethowan made some good runs, McGann's kicking and Watsons throws were not helped due to the wind. I agree with BRIX about the all ferns getting away with murder but what do you expect when you have the woman who helped send 2 of us to the bin in the last game (she was the touchy who had one of our props sent off for no real reason) standing in as the main referee. Credit to the all ferns though even with the game properly policed I think they would've still done the job. We just kept dropping the ball cold & our tackling wasnt too good compared to the ferns.

BRIX you can't be serious about ANOTHER rule overhaul. AND, bringing back rucking, I mean it was a strength of NZ rugby which we were saddened to see taken from the game by IRB old farts. We'd love to have it back. As an aside, I think you Aussies are getting into a debilitating victim mentality around adapting to new rules. Here's the secret duh . . . play to the rules and let the refs referee! The crybaby conspiracy theories are very un-Australian-like I would have thought. Man up, grow some balls. Bash the opposition instead of looking for excuses.

Thanks for the sage advice, KP. We'll take it on board. Mind you Kiwis keep that glass house well polished for your next Wayne Barnes moment.

Odd, that; you'd think someone who knew enough about rugby to be able to comment would know that rugby has Laws, not rules...

It was more of a tongue in cheek write-up that had no other ulterior motive than to post the score and have a bit of a laugh son.

Give yourself a pat on the back peach, Bleck ferns ferever. Haha

Excellent result in the third place play-off match and should improve our seedings for the next world cup. We are clearly number three in the world now with daylight 4th. I thought some of the backline play was fabulous over the tournament and the loose forwards were very good too.

Well done girls!
