It's rather a question of control.Is there any chance of getting an established supporters 'brand' involved? Thinking of the Fanatics here. They were great at the golf, it's a great name and already have a degree of acceptance/support in the sporting community.
Fair point, but so does the Collingwood Cheer Squad. This is by Rugby supporters, for Rugby supporters.Fair enough. My point is they have a level of recognition in the Australian sporting landscape that is hard to establish from scratch.
