Beale also was caught drink driving, alleged to have assaulted his cousin at a party, pissed outside a pub, had a fight with QC (Quade Cooper) and James O'Connor in France, reached an out of court settlement in relation to assaulting a bouncer at the Victory Hotel, got in a fight with Cooper Vuna and was sent home from South Africa, breached an alcohol ban at the Rebels, the incident with Link had issues on last spring tour with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and photos of being present when cocaine was being snorted on social media.

For some reason he is seen as a role model and seems to have a teflon skin.

Oh, I was adamant at the time that Beale should've been long gone, but the ARU did eventually want to tear up his contract and he received a code of conduct hearing, which he survived.............

It should probably be mentioned that (aside from the coke photo) that did all occur under different administrations, and if much of that occurred now he might not be as lucky.

I think the timing of the coke video was under the previous administration as well? Or was that the vacuum cleaner one? Might have been both. Regardless, he's far and away a much more mature person nowadays.

Fox trying to make something out of nothing around Samu’s Post match talk.

He jumps straight into the front foot in response though.

At dinner tonight we were discussing the IF issue. We wondered if the crowd at a Wallabies match in Australia contained more happy clapper holy rollers or queers. Who is RA most likely to upset?

RA wouldn't care. They don't particularly care about the punters in the crowd, they care far more about upsetting QANTAS.

There is a gap in leadership of the Islander Pentecostals in rugby with the Folau thing. Kerevi spoke appropriately, with perfect timing (Easter for goodness sake), respectfully. I would add intentionally and firmly as well.

Well done Samu. Leadership right there.

Fox are off piste here.

Fox are only interested in pleasing Rupert, who has apparently decided to go full Trumpist evengelical.

Fortunately for Beale no one at RA ever said he would never play or never get picked for the Wobs regardless of the outcome of the conduct hearing.

He survived and continued to play. And with the passage of time all is forgotten. (except a few here)

But with Izzy they are painting themselves into a corner by saying they won't pick him.

Setting themselves up for an expensive situation where they are paying a non playing player. (bit like Cooper and Hunt). Just shits me they can't negotiate a better outcome for all involved.

Errr, as far as we know there have been no negotiations. Or have I missed something?

I do make the point again that all Izzy's posts are based on his own faith, which is a fairly narrow brand of evangelical Christianity.

More orthodox Christians might find his posts offensive. Not to mention Jews of all brands, Muslims, Quakers, and on and on. Let alone agnostics or atheists.

Izzy should not be promoting his personal views in the public space IMHO. He is offending a lot of people.

There has been no negotiations to my knowledge.

Just Cheika saying he won't pick him regardless of outcome. And Hooper apparently not wanting to play with him.

So that leaves very little room for a negotiated outcome.

All efforts to date are to shut Izzy out and get him to leave and not take any money with him.

They leave themselves no other position which is setting it up for failure and public humiliation.

That would be religious intolerance. Black and white.

You forgot Ralene saying she wanted to terminate his contract before speaking to him.

And the Waratahs standing him down from training before speaking to him.

And then a parade of players conducting what appear to be RA sanctioned interviews all giving their two bobs worth.

Very strange way to act when involved in contracts and legality.
