I actually made a solemn bet that I'd eat my own hand (2007 RWC quarter final vs England). I managed to haggle my creditor down to these terms:

1. Should I lose my hand or arm at any time in the future I must eat the remains.
2. Should I lose functionality in my hand at any time in the future for which there is no cure, I must eat the hand.
3. Should I be diagnosed with a terminal illness for which there is a limited Life expectancy, I must eat the hand.
Addendum A# Part 1: In all eventualities the hand may be seasoned and cooked within reason.

In other words I have no idea what the answer is yet.
