Recently I started a thread about the best historical XV from players who attended the same school.

On this thread list the best current senior players XV from the same school.

The rules are:
1. Only their current senior form should be considered .
2. As much as is possible players should be nominated for their current position.
3. List their current team and if they have played XVs for Oz – or for any other country.

As before: folks who want to make a comment about the the good or bad effect of private schools in Oz rugby should not do so in this thread but in the following one:

Don't think anyone will come close to that side. Even NC and BSHS might get 15, but not of that quality. Was trying to look at Terrace, since their side in the other thread was so strong. Short of 15 players but 3 scrumhalves, 3 7s etc.

1. Kilmartin (Brothers, Fmr Acad)
2. Hanson (Reds)
3. Ritchie (Easts, Qld A, Former Acad)
4. T. Buchanan (Reds Acad)
5. Chisholm (Brumbies)
6. Braban (Brumbies Acad???)
7. Gill (Reds)
8.
9. Usasz (USA)
10. M. Lucas (Reds acad)
11.
12. C. Foley (Uni, mainly on potential still young)
13. T. White (Easts, Regular in Brisbane XV/PremierXV)
14. Ioane (Reds)
15. B. Lucas (Reds)

*would have prefered to put B Lucas at 10 and leave out M Lucas all together but short on players.

Other players from club land with some representative experience that could fill: O'Hare (6/8), McCormack (8), Freney (7), Kruikelis (5/6),

It looks handy doesn't it - at least on paper.

They have all started in Super14 matches except for:
6. Saffy, who played in the winning Dragons team this year in the NRL Grand Final
7. Lipman, who has started for England in 6N, and played against Oz at HQ in 2008.
11. Betham - maybe he hasn't started - I've forgotten.

When did this happen, LG? Does this mean I've been unfairly bagging the Million Dollar Man and No-use-ifora? And you obviously don't rate appearances for the Reds.

Oops - Laurie was in the original Wallabies squad this year, but I guess he never got a game and come to think of it Hoiles was in and didn't get a guernsey either. Cowan and Valentine just got reserves spots.

I remember Weeks having to switch to LHP which wasn't fair but I must have been thinking of the Oz Baas team v England dirt trackers.

Mullins from easts can play inside centre. Think there was a lock from terrace in the u19 brisbane team aswell. Not sure about the other wing, lachie maranta is playing wing in the broncos toyota cup, but apart from him maybe hartigan from souths.
