That's diabolical planning.
I'm not sure the devil had anything to do with it.
Trying to get a decent venue with side by side fields is increasingly a challenge this time of year.
Does anyone really want to go out to Sefton as an alternative?
And this is why the NSWRU abandoned it 30 years agoI appreciated that in Div 2 they have extended the timing between games to allow travel between Rothwell and Concord but has anyone ever tried getting a park near Concord Oval!? No warm up needed for players backing up once they've completed the walk from car to ground.
Won't somebody please think of theLooking at Briars post you could argue that it’s going to cause them more issues. 4s and 3s at Rothwell, 2s at Concord and then 1s back at Rothwell. I’m sure it would be easier for clubs to be based all at the 1 ground.
Have just had a flick through the various social media pages, things get trickier for Irish, UNSW & St Pat's who have JJC semis at Merrylands too on Saturday morning.Unfortunately which ever way you split it there’s a clash between the grades.
All the clubs have a clash between there grades. Briars 1/2. Petersham 2/Colts. Irish 1/2. Though UNSW and St Pats 3/Colts split Is the worse out come.
As mentioned above it’s puts added pressure on clubs stretched volunteers and as we all know organising player groups to go to a different venue can be hard. But there isn’t another option.
It’s a shame that somewhere like MAC Uni has been turned over to soccer by the Uni S it was able to cover a couple of divisions in the one spot. Sefton as mentioned was a staple of finals footy for years that seems to not be in use anymore.
A filter of colts age graduation. The premiership side of 2022 and grand finalist of 2023 have all phased out into grade. Lindfield colts currently field 80% fresh high school graduates, give them a few years together and they’ll be firing.Nothing between Lindfield and Newport in the Div 1 Club Championship now. Will Newport's Colts and an upset victory in any grade at Woollahra keep them safe? Equally tough task for Lindfield at Lapstone.
What's the story with Lindfield colts? Typically pretty strong but off the pace the past two years. Newport must take some confidence from their Colts performance in 2025.

I believe there is actually only one remaining player from both the 2022 and 23 campaigns. Exciting to see what they will have in store for next year!A filter of colts age graduation. Based of Hornsbys insta the Colts are playing tonight at Headen Park. No mention of the other Grades. I’d assume they won’t worry about 1s but 2s is do or die for those teams.Any news about the Hornsby vs Knox matches that were washed out? Would be rough if they had to squeeze in a mid week match before semis.
