Absolute piss-take from subbies expecting teams from the west to get a decent squad over to the eastern suburbs for a 8.30am kickoff.

Absolute piss take from subbies confirming semis for a comp that’s normally first past the post before the rest of the divisions.

I’m pretty certain that subbies had nothing to do with this. It was the clubs that organised a finals series.

Looks like Hunters v Drummoyne has been shifted till next week.
Mountains have moved there games till next week.
Only Mosman vs Waverley still unknown

Given Waverley still need to catch up on Lindfield, I would suggest they're going to move Mosman to next week as well.

Priority right now has to be the catch up games, limit the damage to fields, and get everyone to the same standing on the tables

Big couple of weeks coming up for Lindfield. Might see some night footy if we can’t get on this weekend. Tough for both clubs to play mid week and back up against Mosman and Mountains a few days later

Based off Briars post I’d say they’ve cancelled all games in Div 2 from Rd 14 and tables will stand as is with finals next week.

Somehow Waverley has found a ground and they will be playing one of their catch up games tomorrow.

I'm hearing that Division 5 semi finals have been changed and will now go to a two week format, despite the protests from all clubs involved. We must be nearing some kind of deadline on the season.........

But luckily we have semi finals for Halligans.

Based off Briars post I’d say they’ve cancelled all games in Div 2 from Rd 14 and tables will stand as is with finals next week.

UNSW v Shammies playing Colts, 3s and 4s at Pioneers Park in Malabar which is also plastic. Hosting JJC Yellow semis as well.

EDIT: JJC Blue catch up at Latham prior to UNSW/Shammies

Div 6 has GRR playing Oatley on Old Bush Road Oval which I think belonged to Engadine updated to Pioneers Park Malabar

Again: catching up the outstanding games from that round to get everyone on an even keel.

Was it all clubs? I'm only aware of 2 out of the 5 being visibly upset, but maybe the rest called Subbies with their complaints

Semifinals for Halligans kicking off at 8 and 8:30AM mind you - a time that the Div 5 clubs might have struggled with in the Eastern Suburbs TBH.

At least I assume the Halligan Cup games are still going ahead. Bit of a trip that early for Hills!

Halligan Cup semifinal results: Colleagues 6th Grade 26-5 over LCOIRFC 3s, and Hills 3s trade blows with Kings 2s to run out 22-17 winners.

The final will be played at midnight next Thursday in Cooma.

Anyone know why they chose to do semi finals for Halligans? Was this a decision from Subbies or did the club want to do it to add to the season?
Fair results given the top two teams are through to the final in Cooma.
