Careful what you wish for Reg, the sixers did win the BBL in it's first season!

Was procrastinating. Quickly drawn.
Josiah Wedgwood made this medallion in 1789 to commemorate the landing of the First Fleet. It is made of clay collected at Sydney Cove by Governor Phillip. He sent the sample to Sir Joseph Banks, who sent it on to Wedgwood to test its suitability for making china.
Wedgwood made the sample into a commemorative medal titled;
'Hope encouraging Art and Labour, under the influence of Peace, to pursue the employments necessary to give security and happiness to an infant settlement'.
It is more commonly known as the Sydney Cove medallion.
My guess, Huge, is that they'll go with gold, blue and black. And notwithstanding its authorship I'm increasingly attracted to Sydney Cove as a team name with the players referred to as the Coves.

Good as gold, RF. You've done some great work with the logos and accompanying text.
Sent this in with credit to the G&GR thread (hope bruce is ok with that)

Fair go, Dave. Ten days and nights of hard slog in the back-blocks of China. Funny way to spend your holidays.Back from holidays
Missed your posts, good to see your diary has you returning for one of the big games. All grades look strong today.Fair go, Dave. Ten days and nights of hard slog in the back-blocks of China. Funny way to spend your holidays.

These could be season-defining games for both clubs in all grades, Dave. They will provide a good read on just where our teams are. Of course, there are other clubs who may be equally strong in particular grades but Manly and Uni have strong teams throughout.Missed your posts, good to see your diary has you returning for one of the big games. As far as Redfern is concerned, in Season 2 of the NRC, Sydney Uni No. 2 will be available and of equivalent size and offering better viewing.
Why don't we wait and see what $10 million can achieve, coulda? And since you have fond memories of No. 2 you'll probably want to tip in for the "Building on Excellence" fund.Sorry Bruce - no way does Uni 2 have better viewing than Redfern.
In fact Uni 2 has nothing but a cricket pitch (and fond memories for me)
Thanks Bruce - I missed that - be glad to pitch a little coulda cash at Uni 2. I will go and search for that fund now.Why don't we wait and see what $10 million can achieve, coulda? And since you have fond memories of No. 2 you'll probably want to tip in for the "Building on Excellence" fund.
