^ Dubai & Cape Town managed it, Hong Kong & Paris will manage it later in the Series & EVERY previous combined Leg has managed it so what makes it impossible for Hamilton & Sydney but only those two?

EDIT: the "impossible" bit being having QF, not cramming everything into two days when everyone else has/ will use a two & a half day format.

The 7s is a massive success in Cape Town because of the Newlands faithfull which support any sport (cricket included) plus the date is perfect. No other stadium in SA will draw that many. Also the reason why NZ do so good here , all the Cape Crusaders supporting them.

7s in SA change a few years ago after Saru decided to invest in it. SA have a very good academy for 7s in Stellenbosch , identifying talent from young age.

Willem Strauss , president of the Blue Bulls started the @tlantic schoolboy tournament many years ago and it grew from there. 7s nowadays is a big feeder for 15s and many play S15. Quick out of my head is Senatla, Nel, Specman, exct
