^ Thanks Gents. I now consider myself in "elite" company then ;)

Looking like Thorny is going to name a side pretty close to the 1st round starting side.

"In your second trial, I guess you're getting more of a look at the team that's looking likely (for round one) so they get a bit of cohesion together," he said.

Great to see Harrison and KB (Kurtley Beale) in the right positions.

Really hope Mack gets to a club where he can play consistent top-flight rugby if he doesn't make it at the Tahs. Much too good to be wasting away in Shute Shield - if he goes overseas he will be the next Sam Greene.

Not far away from the Tahs full strength side! No doubt still a few maybe's, Hanigan possibly in front of Staniforth and Moeroa on the bench. I really like that backline, may well be the best we can put on the paddock. Maddocks and Clark would both be breathing down Newsome's neck
I wonder whether Abel has edged in front of Fitzpatrick, or if that's still undecided?
Any idea what the problem is with Harris?

I hope and pray Foketi has matured and gained some insight about the subtlety and perspective on OC play, positioning and timing.

Reds all the way. Watching both games last weekend, NSW will have the edge if they play like they did in the second half. Harrison does control a game better than Lucas. Bringing in the first tier players this weekend will be a real treat. I still don’t think Thorny will start his best team.

Must still be sick and injured respectively. Shame that neither are available and will presumably be playing their first minutes of the season in round 1.

No Moeroa is a shame as it will be hard to tell how his transition back to Rugby is actually going.

I like that it's flipped this week. It will be interesting how Mack/Will go in reverse (starting/closing).

I think Mack will get a fair chance to show his potential this season, nor do I think that there is a strong desire to have Beale as the starting 10.
