Really hope Mack gets to a club where he can play consistent top-flight rugby if he doesn't make it at the Tahs. Much too good to be wasting away in Shute Shield - if he goes overseas he will be the next Sam Greene.

The Tahs are always favourite which makes it so much sweeter when we win. As my dad always says, losing by 1 point is a thrashing when it comes to NSW.

Reds all the way. Watching both games last weekend, NSW will have the edge if they play like they did in the second half. Harrison does control a game better than Lucas. Bringing in the first tier players this weekend will be a real treat. I still don’t think Thorny will start his best team.

No Moeroa is a shame as it will be hard to tell how his transition back to Rugby is actually going.

I like that it's flipped this week. It will be interesting how Mack/Will go in reverse (starting/closing).

I think Mack will get a fair chance to show his potential this season, nor do I think that there is a strong desire to have Beale as the starting 10.

Fitzpatrick has just come back from playing for Stade Francais, so that might also be a factor in him starting on the bench.
