Its a disgrace that the clock still runs on scrum resets. Honestly, how has that rule not been changed. Imagine an extra 2-3 minutes of rugby at the end there.

Brumbies absolutely controlled the game that second half. Suffocated the Reds in field position and possession, no way we were winning that game with such a crappy second half.

For the Reds:
Positives, Reds set piece looked great, scrum dominated and the lineout was strong, the backrow showed glimpses of their potential. Speight was a great signing.

Negatives; the Reds 9-13 combination was pretty poor, they just lacked combination and nothing was really working. Lucas did some good things and some bad, Petaia was rusty as hell and JOC (James O'Connor) was good but made a couple of poor decisions.

While JOC (James O'Connor) is not a fantastic 10, he is a mile better than Lucas at 10 who really struggled in attack. The last ten minutes of the match with JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 and Paisami on the field ignited what had been a poor backline showing. Hope we see next week JOC (James O'Connor) start at 10 with Paisami and Petaia in the centres.
