Agree on To'omua and Deegan. Best player has to start, nobody has a lock on a jersey.

That pack certainly looks a lot better than last weeks, with some decent go forward in Naisarani, Hardwick and Phillip and workers in Welsl and Jones.

Only changes I'd make is Hodge to 12, Meakes to 13 and Kellaway to 14 with English on the bench.

Brumbies unbeaten at home when I've been out of town in every game since the Force in 2009 (damn you Gits, that streak would be like five years longer if not for you). I'll be in Dubbo. Brumbies by 12.

Pretty similar to what I would pick.

I'd give To'omua one more crack at 10 and I'd keep Kellaway at 14. Hodge to the bench.

Louwrens (if available) in place of Strang.

That said, I don't think Hodge should be left out. Let him and Meakes build their partnership.

No Jones,

Same backline

Wells at 7 instead of Hardwick or Leota

Cottrell stays at 6

Gibbon is back

Deegan dropped for the forward loaded bench. Makes sense in terms of seniority and strategy, doesn't leave us with a capable 10 if To'omua gets busted up early. Hodge would slot in, I'm guessing

Don't really understand the team. Not sure what Deegan did wrong to get dropped, particularly when To'omua was very average by his standards. Not my job to understand though I guess, I'll just tune in, watch us lose, be frustrated for 24 hours and just recover enough enthusiasm to be excited for Calcutta Cup before starting the cycle all over again.
