Three Aussie players in the Rugby.com.au super rugby player of the year, Ala'alatoa, Arnold and Kerevi align with the most popular picks on this thread (to date).

Those same 3 being the only Aussies in the ESPN and Fox Sports teams of the year as well.........

They were definitely the standouts of the Aussie teams.

Edit: just saw that rugby.com.au also had Sio, Fainga’a, Hooper, Lilo and Banks on their reserves bench.

Maybe being a little generous there for those last few additions.......... might be some Kiwis more deserving.

Wanted a surprise in my 3, but in terms of pure effort especially on defence i think Hooper deserved a mention. 30 more tackles than anyone in Super Rugby with a 90% success rate and also 16 turnovers. Superb season even if the rest of team disappointed.
