Why are they concerned with spectator safety, no-one from Christchurch goes to the games because "it's toooooooo cold".

Bunch of sooks.

Fortunately the big baby says nothing about chainsaws.

Crusaders CEO Cowbell Banning Confession

--NZ Herald--

Cantab Death Star CEO Darth Mansbridge has today confessed to the real reason behind the sudden banning of cowbells, an accoutrement synonymous with Waikato Rugby, ahead of the Super Rugby Pacific Grand Final between the Crusaders and the Chiefs this Saturday.

“We have made the decision to ban cowbells at Apollo Projects Stadium for the Super Rugby Pacific Grand Final between the Crusaders and the Chiefs to ensure complete silence for our children of the corn in the stands as they concentrate on trying to catch the rugby football when it is kicked into touch. It is crucial for all us Cantabs that we can hear the dozens of Cantab cheers when the ball is successfully caught by a Crusaders fan. It is our only pleasure in life " Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge said in a statement.

Arguing it's fine because the dreary, misbegotten, rundown hellscape ruled by the renowned anti-fun police that is New Zealand also does it might not be quite the slam dunk you're hoping it to be.

Quite the opposite, if anything.

Was just pointing out that it's not what it's being portrayed as in certain sections of the media.

Honestly I think it's a great move from the Crusaders, and I've loved the Chiefs responses. The competition needs as much beef between teams (and their fans) as it can get right now. How much extra media attention has this generated this week? And particularly in (rugby) media markets outside of the two teams involved?

Poor W.O, backed into a corner, just him and his beloved Cantabs.

Hopefully after the inevitable Cantab victory he posts a massive triumphant celebratory pictorial essay lauding his #!$%&!%!$#F champion team.

Crusaders will take it and thankfully no break dancing from Razor if they do........unless he makes.a surprise appearance.

Let us all join hands and pray Nisbo is on the call.

Having to listen to shrieking cantab ******* TJ imploring his beloved charges onto ever greater deeds of heroism would be worse than 911 million Hitler 9/11's.
