Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

Froggy

Nicholas Shehadie (39)
While Moeroa is a gamble, I think it a necessary one. With Hunt out, we desperately need someone in the centres who can get over the gain line, and IMO for the last two weeks Foketi has offered absolutely nothing.
That is a very good Rebels side, if we get five points and make the final series, we will have earned it. Having said that, I think the Rebels will be too strong.

Yep Foketi been rubbish - if Tahs looking at $1m in cuts next year he would have to be on the radar...and hence Moeroa is not such a gamble given Foketi offered nothing this season

I'm not sure Foketi has evolved enough. He's been given every chance to step up. Maybe he's just still underdone atm. Captaining the Sydney team in the NRC last year he had patches where he looked promising, but he's definitely regressed of late.

Rebels looking very out of sorts so far, occasion may be getting to them. Need some of the experienced heads to settle them down a bit.

Looking forward to this match. Prediction: Head says Rebels but...and a but...Tahs showed can be very good. Missing Hunt for me is real loss for the backline and hence sway towards Rebels as given first game Moeroa starting would be at odds for him to have a blinder....

Rebels by 10.

Rebels should feel very hard done by by the whistle.

Not sure they are a chance with the current interpretations.

Good energy from the Tahs.

Rebels are playing insanely dumb rugby, but all credit to the Tah intensity.

youve got to be fucking kidding me. i know you dont like the tahs but every scrum ainsley is changing his bind, and they got pinged rightfully for offside multiple times.

Interesting when the ref told him not to change his bind, on the AR advice, then he did the exact thing straight away but nothing said. What's the point of the warning?
