Super Rugby Au Round 7 - Reds v Rebels @ Suncorp Stadium, 7:15pm Sat 15 Aug

Rebels on fire after defeating the Brumbies. Reds on the rebound following a less than satisfactory game against the Waratahs. Fight for positionsin the finals, likely these two teams would be targeting second and third but last week was a real leveler.

Time to turn it up Reds!

This is a 'must win' game for the Reds if they want to progress any further in this limited competition.
Its about time Thorn stopped f*^#ing around and selects players in their preferred positions from the start of the game.

Is a loss here enough to put Thorn's job on the chopping block?

Probably not - nor should it necessarily be.
He has done good work in bringing on this team.
But next year, if there are not positive results (in whatever competition they find themselves in), then I think he should go out the back door.

What’s going on with JP Smith, Feao Fotuaika, Harry Hoopert and Sean Farrell? Can Farrell step up into bench hooker? I have got no idea about his throw.

Just saw the Reds team - sorry can't post it as I'm on mobile.

What has happened with JP Smith and Hoopert? Looks very thin on LH props - I know Felemi from GPS but didn't think he was even in the Reds training squad.

Also pretty handy Reds team on paper. Here's hoping that they have the lineout in order or else Philip will make their night very long.

ASY (Angus Scott-Young) makes way for McReight (don't know if that'll help the lineout), McDermott starts and Jock's back at FB with Petaia on the wing, I like that balance more.

JP Smith and Harry Hoopert are injured.
Feao Fotuaika has been injured all year.
Farrell is playing in QPR at the moment.

Feao was on the bench a couple of weeks ago.

I haven't seen Farrell's name on any QPR team sheets. Isn't he a Souths player?
