Super Rugby AU Round 10 - Rebels v Force, 3.00pm AEST Sat 5th September

The Rebels winning is going to make plenty of people here in Melbourne just a little bit happier amidst an absolutely shit situation that few of you outside the state can really understand,

Watching a small crowd of geniuses up in Brisbane chant "free Victoria" was pretty entertaining.........

Can I just say, a lot of bloody misery guts here.

Tough game of footy with a firm breeze. Dropped balls were a frustration but how about getting around a hollywood finish and a team getting to play finals?

I know there is plenty of negativity but you have to pay that game and the finals result. I have thoroughly enjoyed SRau.

You have to say commiserations to Waratahs, you went very close.

Respect to Force. They will go far in seasons to come.

Ready should be a Wallaby.

He dominated prems rugby after some disciplinary issues at The Reds.

Lee-Warner good too.

I hear you. I was hoping you know with all that time together and as the comp went on they'd continue to improve, evolve. As much as I'm bummed that the Tahs are now out, I am happy that they seemed to keep getting a little better and some of their attack really started to come together. The Rebels I just don't see what they are working towards.
Clearly hard on them having to be on the road same boat as the force and hats off to how well the Force fought out the competition. Don’t think the constant change has helped Lowrens Lomani Tuttle all getting a start at 9 with To'omua and Deegan at 10

Rebels fans absolutely should be positive from here as finals footy - they only have to win 2 games and they win the whole shooting match,

You have to be in it to win it and sadly Tahs are not - but given tough conditions in Melbourne with Stage 4 lockdown I agree Rebels winning on the bell is just the right tonic for Rebels fans and to bring a bit of cheer to Victorians.

Congrats Rebels as you are playing your first finals footy...does not matter whether Super Rugby or Super Rugby AU - finals is finals.

Can't begrudge the Rebels getting into the play-off match, although I feel for the Force getting so close to a famous win; the Tahs were just not quite there through the season, and I think it's a fair outcome for the ladder. They'll need to be better to beat Reds and Brumbies, but you never know.
If I was a betting man I'd have a sneaky on the Reds. But I'm not, and I'll probably be wrong. ;)

Cannot believe I could feel this gutted two weeks in a row. Went into the game hoping the Force would do the job but expecting the Revs to win. But then the game happened and I begun to actually think it may happen. Damn it.

I'd have loved a win, but happy for the Rebels that they get another week. Just glad it was a close match to end the season on a relative high. A pasting would have been disheartening for a while to come.

Well done on getting the job done Rebs! Geez, you really did take it down to the wire and win by the minimum 4! You will be the death of me!

Onwards!

I agree with that. I'm not upset about the Tahs not getting a finals berth, but a NSW v Qld semi would have been gold.

Still struggling with a semi final idea, we got five teams and play 2 rounds to drop off bottom 2 teams, think it should of been just top 2 to final.

Dunno, couple of months at Terrigal, playing some ruggers doesn't sound too bad to me :)
Look no doubt has obvious positives. Better lifestyle than being in Melbourne at the moment but a bus trip every week both ways on the day of the game would take its toll
