Saders pulled up for being ahead of the kicker from a pretty decent restart. Chiefs really have a chance to make the scoreline a little safer in the next 10 minutes or so. However Saders are so aggressive at the breakdown they could get a turnover try. Just as I say that Chiefs with probably their best breakdown work of the night turn over a Saders counter and kick in down in Saders 22. This is on a knife edge.

Chiefs still forcing errors from the Saders with massive pressure, but it's still only a 6 point game. Chiefs lineout misfires for the 2nd time but a knock on from the Saders saves them. Scrum to the Chiefs on the Saders 10m line.

Penalty to the Saders for the Chiefs running the scrum around. Carters kick wasn't vintage and he made very little ground. Chiefs are making thie changes with Cane on for Thompson and Tameifuna on for Afeaki. Saders take the chance to have a huddle. A big 10 minutes in the game coming up now.

Andy Ellis has not been good.

Carter bisects the posts with a penalty. 20-17 Chiefs looks the better team but it's the Saders putting the points on the board. Get the feeling if the Saders get a head they could pull away from the Chiefs.

Ellis just put a box kick out on the full. Lineout to Chiefs about 30ms out.

Chiefs get into the Saders 22m and immediately turnover the ball. Fruen with a great run and offload brings play up to the Saders 22m line. Saders win a penalty from a subsequent ruck. Carter puts them down the line on into the Chiefs 22.

Chiefs turn it over and kick up to halfway. Could have been a penalty for a block on the kicker but they do get one from a ruck. Chiefs debating if it's in range for Cruden. Important decision.

Cruden hits the underside for the crossbar with the penalty from 55m. Saders have been sloppy tonight but Chiefs aren't punishing their mistakes. Still a 3 point game.

Are the Chiefs starting to tire now? Ellis spent a good 5 seconds just standing with ball in hand while he figured what to do, but the Chiefs players just stood and watched, eventually the clear down field.

Nani Williams with a risky pass in midfield. If it came off SBW was in behind the Saders. However Carter got a hand out and knocked it on. Could have been a costly intercept. Scrum to Chiefs on halfway.

Was about to say Chiefs are looking a little tentative as if players are afraid of making the mistake that loses it. Then in comes a huge hit from them by Retallik. But penalty awarded to Saders.

Carter scoops the penalty form 45m and because of that it falls short.
