Agree with you Jiggles, the longer they're 10 points or more behind the more they're going to feel that tiredness. But a try and a swing of momentum and suddenly they can find there's a little more in the tank. But with the Chiefs camped in their 22 conceding a try now could completely crush any little bit of fight they have left.
Sharks emptying the bench, expect them to put it up to the Chiefs for the next 10 minutes. Sharks have noticeably lifted their pace but not sure they can sustain that for the rest of the game.
Jiggles, As a gross oversimplification, I think if the game had been in Auckland the NZ crowd would not have been "as fair" as you have observed. Darknessers outside of the main centres are far more rugby aware.
