3. Slipper(great game in the scrum and breakdown)
2. Morahan(read the kicks well, attacked well, filled a weak spot in the Reds backline)
1. Hanson(again, scrum performance and work in the tight)

I was torn in this one, Samo, Beau, Daley, Simmmons and Horwill all deserve points for there work at the breakdown, and Cooper and Genia were tactically awesome tonight, as well as the defence from Fainga'a in the centres, but the tough calls need to be made.

In my mind, a game won with position, the breakdown and the scrum

3. Daly - I'd need to watch the scrums again, but he was also strong in the loose
2. Genia - his kicking this year is A1 fucking superb. The new F. DuPreez
1. I;m going Robinson on first view. Always hassling

We almost need two options, first half when it was the pack aggression that knocked the sails out of the Stormers (so 3 Daley, 2 Hanson, 1 Samo) and then 2nd half when the game was shut down by the usual suspects (3 Genia, 2 Cooper, 1 FaingaaA).

I will go with

3 Daley
2 Slipper
1 Genia

Hanson, Simmons, Kev, Beau, Higgers, Samo, Ant, Quade and Morahan all were excellent too.

3/ Ben Daley
2/ Anthony Fainga'a

Hard to give individual points in such a good team performance. Honourable mentions to Genia and Cooper for using the opportunity provided by the forwards so wisely.

All hail Link.

Daley, A Finger, Simmons, Higgers, etc. - Most of these guys were nowhere and not expected to do anything at the start of last season. How they 've kicked on! And the new additions this season - slipper (as a starter), Hanson, morahan, Robinson, Samo coming back - wow, there's an amazing team culture happening in Links camp that's allowing these guys to shine.

Can someone bottle it and express post to Mr R Deans, c/- ARU?

3: genia. His kicking game was the dominant factor, even on bad forward ball
2: slipper. Great scrum performance
1: Daley. As above

Could have gone to so many others. Big rap for Daley as he had a great all round game and did well in the scrums.

It's tough to name just 3 players after a massive effort like that as there is so many worth a mention.

3. Slipper
2. Hanson
1. Quade

Had choice. there were no weak links in the team this week.

Firstly honorable mention to the guys they cam into the team (Samo and Hanson) both contributed what Link wanted them to. Good to know that we can be confident to call on them during the rest of the season. They highlighted the depth that the reds are creating this year.

Reds backline all outplayed there opposite numbers. AFiangaa had a field day in defence. Morahan and Harris have shown they belong in the side. Hynes and Chambers (in particular) are going to have to work hard to get back into the side.

Slipper and Daley were strong against the heavier pack. Higgers, Robinson and Simo were all great. But my points would go to

3. Genia - The Reds mixed things up all night, and most of that was thanks to Genia who in my opinion has surpass FDP as the worlds best halfback. he attacked with forwards wide of the ruck, attacked close to the ruck, mixed in grubbers and box kicks and went for the odd snipe to keep the stormers on their toes.
2. Cooper - His Goal kicking was superb. He has shown this year that he has added a new dimension to his game in that he can execute a territory game with precision. His decision making under pressure was flawless. He even made a few tackles to my surprise ;)
3. Horwill - The forward pack as a whole were great but he marshalled his troops as a leader and his own game was strong.

Deans must be liking what he sees.
