We're not the only team that has to keep winning. After the Sharks and Crusaders efforts on the weekend, I think the Tahs could be on shaky ground as well.

Tahs are safe. They will finish top of the Aus conference with a game in hand on the Brumbies and an easier run to the finals. Brumbies are really on shaky ground. If they can win a few of their next games, it will probably come down to a competition between them and the second rated SA team to make the play-offs. Assuning of course that the NZers don't finish with four teams in the play-offs. And then again, the Rebels are not yet out of contention either.

I'm not so sure about the Tahs - the consistency that got them home last year in the latter half of the season is not there, and the blueprint to throw them off is well documented. They might top the Aus conference, more through the Brumbies falling away a bit, but I doubt they'll get far in the play-offs if they do.

That was a good ol fashioned home town ref, although to be honest with the scrum that munted the count was going to be high.

Brumbies lost that one through nothing but their own fault. Clearly the better side. The stormers delivered more cheap shots then I have scene in ages. Berry lost the plot in the second half and penalised the brumbies for anything and everything.

The cheap shots were obseen

What bemused me was how the commentators were praising Stu at the beginning of game and lamenting how he missed out on a world cup gig.

Haven't seen the game yet, but JP has been a liability in the starting scrums since Scott was injured. Bernie really needed to shift Ben A back to LH and bring Ruan Smith in to TH. May be too late for the season now as they are going to struggle to make the finals from here.
Malherbe & Ginga the main reason for the Smith chicken run to Aus, JP was shown up again on saturday. Add Koch.

Dont agree at all. Brumbies played like a bunch of thugs and paid the price for it. White act like a true Aussie cricketerer at the end. What a sad tosser.Blaming the ref for this is typical sad tosser stuff.

The 20-5 penalty count was as pathetic as Vermuelen and co's sad need to have the last shove at every breakdown. The brumbies had obviously decided not to take it and despite Berry having one arm they were a missed kick in front of the poles from beating the top Saffa side at home - clearly their attitude worked.

In my opinion the Brumbies were lucky not to be penalised more. Their scrum was a shower and they should have conceded a penalty try for collapsing the scrum.

Good game by Brumbies especially the first half. Individual errors like the forward pass by White or the lost kick by Lifo cost the win

I don't recall this supposed intimidation gameplan?

There were quite a few series of handbags throughout the match, some of which were instigated by cheap shots from the Stormers early on.........

The hyperbole being spat out by the commentators was pathetic............

Something like penalties 30-5 would have made more sense to you?

I dont get this. The Brumbies have professional players and the basic of rugby at Prymary School is to play to the ref. If the count is 100-0 doesnt matter, playing like they did on saturday cost them the game.
