No Vermeulen.

Ouch. Brumbies compete the hardest of all the Aussie teams at the collisions. Vermeulen, alongside Burger is the perfect foil. They will miss his physicality.

I assume Carr plays 8. Totally different player.

He ain't really. You know it.
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

He's dead. 100%. Sure as hell not gonna stay that way though.

So it took all that time for someone to spot their illegal tactics? They play a spoling game around the breakdown. It's plain to see.

Yep, it took the highly regarded Stuart Berry to crack down on their illegal play.........

I will mope about like a twat. I shall piss off all the bogans I work with. I shall bang the fuck out of that ginger wildling, even though the bitch keeps giving me attitude.

In short, I shall pretty much do whatever the fuck I want. But I WON'T look happy about it. Not once.

Every time I read one of these comments I can't help but think of that Jaco Peyper smirk.

You always get the sense that he gets a fair deal of enjoyment out of the misery of players and fans on the rugby field.

Brumbies unchanged apparently so that means To'omua is still on the bench.

Great news that Pocock has recovered from his concussion.

I am going to visit Osfontein in two weeks time, hope to share a cold one with Jaco. He is a very good ref, best up and coming ref you'd get.

I don't mind Jaco. He's certainly better than any of the Aus or NZ refs around atm. But best up and comer imo is Marius van der Westhuizen. Have been very impressed with every game he has reffed, including those involving the Brumbies.

Big ask for the Brumbies, but I give them a chance if they can stay close enough. I don't think they're playing as well as they have previously but they're not out of this. Composure will be key I think and taking every single point scoring opportunity they can. Lilo will need to kick well.

Smiler has had a standout year and his form in open play has been impressive. He is also a very good lineout option. But I suspect Enever is favoured for his scrummaging. Not sure though. Blake is also very good at lineout and has played pretty good in the open lately.

Jordan Smiler will be sorely missed next year. He plays just like Scott Fardy, and in fact the commentators often get them mixed up when calling a game.
