Is this the beginning of the end for the Bulls Blue?

Well at least, can they bounce back this season?

all this means is that a successful game plan against the stormers would be 'no infringements'

I thought so. Until I actually watched the game and saw that they weren't that bad and how incredibly physical the Stormers' defense and physicality was. It was akin to the semi-final at Newlands against the Tahs last year. The Bulls came out in the second half with our typical relentless rolling mauls and crash ball running and I think most defenses would have cracked. The Stormers just absorbed it expertly.

These are in my view the issues for the Bulls. All fixable:
1. Steyn's goal kicking has been off. We depend on the score rolling along.
2. Dropsies. So many last passes going to ground. Trying to force too much but I think it was as a result of the good defense.
3. Physicality at the breakdown. Not up to standard at the moment, especially on defense. Stegman has been poor and Spies has gone back to the mediocre version.
4. Discipline. Where is last year's iron discipline when it matters? We're like a penalty magnet at the moment.

I had my concerns about being off the pace last week but that wasn't the issues this week. It was the accuracy.

I still think the Bulls will finish mid-table. We had our time.

Stormers are going to cause loads of trouble for a lot of teams. Their defense is on another planet and actually gets into people's heads. Tries will come but it's not that important right now. Good thing for them is they have loads to work on.

I'm in the same boat as you Aussie D - haven't seen them play this year. If the opposition keep infringing in their territory then taking the points is absolutely the right thing to do.

Their finishing at time has lacked. Not sur why. They are moving the ball well though which is why I think they will score more. Both last week and this week were slugfests. The Clan and the Bulls defended well.
