bonus point try to the boks. Well played to them and they took there chances. Gutted though that so many calls seem to go against us.

I thought you guys were quite lucky actually to get away with lying on the wrong side so much actually.

Dunno why people are complaining about Owens, to be honest. In the last 10, I watched us fall of tackles like dead flies, fail to provide support and spill the ball in contact. Adios, and deservedly so -- no matter how much fight we put up in the first 70 minutes.

Falling short in the big games.
True to form are the Wallabies
Falling short in all games, particularly the last 20mins.

Where was our leadership on field in that second half? Hooper goes missing as a leader more often than not.

Phipps is just a pain for the refs (not managing them, just shitting them off). Beale was appalling without impact.

When did Izzy last have impact apart from running into our players/the ref?

Hurting.

All I can say is this:

That's how you close a game. Thank you for teaching us a lesson over there in Perth. Flattering scoreline perhaps, but the game is 80 minutes. Just ask the All Blacks.

Well that's game over & me off to bed.

Up until the 70min mark of this game I felt more proud of the Wallabies effort than I've felt at the end of some of our more dodgier victories. I agree Nigel lost the plot in the last 10 but we need to react better to these kinds of situations, we really just dropped our bundle. Real shame because I genuinely felt we were on top of the Boks for most of that match. I guess we are even now for that game we stole from them last match.

Overall disappointed but it was a very good game to watch.

I thought Tevita was dynamite, my MOTM. Special mention to Saia, for the 4th choice hooker I thought he did a great job bar one penalty.

Yep, no problem with the reffing at all. Truth be told, we should have scored in that period where we had about 20 phases. The Boks would have had to chase the game then. What grinds my gears is that the score says 26-10, but that is in no way a reflection of the game.

Some quick thoughts:

First 60 minutes was great. The last 10 and the ability to not score in the 2nd was not so great.

Some big games from Kurudrani in attack and Fardy and McCalman in the dirty work.

The bench was the clear difference in the end. Burger, du Plessis, Botha got it done for the Boks whereas ours was ineffective, apart from Horwill.
