The only problem with Matfield squared is that with two lots of chicken legs your scrum would be essentially depowered.

Agree with the others regarding best backrow with Spies on the bench to cover all three spots. Come RWC time the Bok will miss J. Smith at least as much as they Brussow last year.

Last point I wouldn't rate De Plesis as the best Hooker in the World. It is arguable for sure but I would personally take TPN and Meelamu before him.

I'm with Blue on TPN not playing enough international Rugby to be rated ahead of Bismarc.

Nope Butch join the Lions in a few months time and Snor obvious have a soft spot for him. In this regard you can count Jantjies in, myself wants Morne Steyn in 10. He is the type you need ti win a WC title. Personally I am glad to hear Rassie will join the Bok coaching staff and will obvious draw in the Stormers defensive coach. Thats the ones we need. If he work a bit with Morne you'll see him as a different player.

Lampie. Steyn has the yips and looks completely out of sorts and I reckon Lampie will just get better and better.

Steyn is a good guy to have on the bench though.

Steyn may of course get back up to 98% or something and prove me wrong but I just have a feeling about.

Say the Sharks go at least to the semis or even final and the Bulls don't make the playoffs (a real possibility)? One big game from Lampie in the playoffs and they will have to pick him and once he is in I reckon he will stay in.
