Hasn't he always been a blindside (7 in SA), he plays like one. I've never seen him as some sort of an openside
Schalk is always huge on defense and the reason for the confusion. He sure can mix it up. Nowadays he have improve a lot on his distribution. When younger he liked to bash but nowadays he'll chuck it wider. All depend on what the coach wants, myself will want him to play to the ball with his defense and Brussouw should be perfect poaching from this. Will allow Spies to play his natural game of ball carrier and the flashy type. This is what Francois Louw such a good pick because this is the way Schalk and Louw plays S100. Vermeulen obvious more a tough nutter then Spies, Brussouw will make up for this. Alberts probably best to play from the bench to cover 7 and 8 and more likely to be use as ball carrier.
