Anyone remember the last test match in the 70's in London, when on the last day the bookies were offering 100-1 on the poms?
Lillee & Marsh were lucky enough to back the poms for a bit of change.
amazingly the poms got the cash (as did Lillee & Marsh)
Would have thought this would be ranked highly by a Pommie journo, unless he didn't think they choked?

The compliers of the list obviously had an agenda they wanted to push.

I do not think they have been very thorough, or objective in the research and preparation for this article.

Appears that their research has been very shallow, and many worthy chokes have been ignored.

Botham's match in 1981 at Leeds. I think the odds were 500-1 and Bob Willis took 8-43 in our last dig to skittle us chasing a low total. One of my early test match memories that one.

Their 2003 debacle should make it onto the list as they seriously kicked ass that year except in that one Semi. In 07 they were robbed by Barnes and the blind touchies.

They weren't the best side in 2003 though, the English were. Beat both the Oz and NZ sides at home, at one stage against the AB's they were down to 13 men. Don't like these choker threads / lists as it demeans some excellent come-from-behind wins France v ABs 1999 being a good example.

How has no one mentioned the Kangaroos choke in 2008? That is the actual definition of a choke. Stupid decisions (Slater) made under pressure.
