Christ, what a fucking world class muppet. Talking himself before he's even had a test start ? This lot get dumber and dumber. How hard is it ? Your first few tests you are cliche city "honour" blah blah "represent your country" blah blah.

Nothing to announce your arrival like a head line.
I don't mind that he's stuck his neck out. We need a confident, aggressive 8 and maybe this guy still has his balls intact. I said after the game last week that I liked the way he took the ball to the line and obviously I wasn't the only one. It sure would be nice to have a complete backrow for the first time in a long time.

I for one hope he has a storming game on the weekend. We need to get some big time go forward from the back row and I hope we get it from Benny. He's got a big job ahead of him though.

Have you actually seen what he said? He is the last bloke in the world to blow his own trumpet. It's hard to get anything out of him most of the time. He was simply answering questions that were put to him.

That's what I would think. He's a laid back country lad who wouldn't have the experience to dodge a question or to answer it in a manner that was squeaky clean of talking himself up. IIRR Greg Holmes, who has a similar background, said something along the same lines when he was starting off his test career but it wasn't noticed at the time.

But Blue is right: we should all relax.

I want to see the bearded Mongrel bash Spies, did anyone see Pococks dump on spies in the last test lol that was funny

Just wondering does anyone know why literally every wallaby has shaved legs, or atleast they look shaved

Pocock's tackle was great, didn't get much attention because the Boks scored straight after though.

Most if not all of them shave their legs beacause it is much easier to strap them with good ol' elastoplast tape.

That said, I've heard stories of notoriously hairy blokes strapping their ribs and ripping the tape of their chest in a cathartic excercise of paramount masculinity.

even the backs, i can understand the pack shaving

A mate of mine did that on our rugby tour and he was nearly in tears, one of the funnies things ive ever seen

Yeh it was a shame that bam bam didn't get the credit for the dump cos they scored straight away, but it was a mighty tackle and made spies look like an idiot

Also on spies' try drewsters tackle was so funny it was an apalling attempt

The leg shaving thing is weird, I noticed it at the England game. I think it's to show off their quads better personally.

Which is why I would always have him on the bench in test rugby but the coaches have an obsession with him. He is a fantastic ball carrier and hard to stop if you give him space but often still plays like a back who doesnlt know what to do now he is a forward. It's not evident in Super rugby but in tests he gets shown up too often.

Hard not to be infatuated with him - he's shown he has ticker, coming back from life threatening illness, and he's the right size.

Just seems to coast or not find the right space on the field or something... He's not there just yet, thankfully

Ever had a deep tissue massage with hairy legs? The pain is unbearable.

precisely, ive had a couple of massages and after the first two times it was suggested that i shave my legs, it hurts less and it actually makes it a lot easier for the masseuse as well.

I am amazed it took everyone so long to come to the dark side of silky smooth legs...:)

I did not know that, about the massages I mean.

I'm such a wuss with the massages though. I've been told more then once I pull some pretty interesting faces when the physios do their work.

He looks like a tough bugger in his profile picture - no fancy hair cut or clean shaven like the rest of the team.

Actually I have one a Fortnight. No problems at all. In fact the pulled hair (I'm certain I would remember if it was painful) would seem to be the least painful part.
