South Africa v Wales: We need to stop Willie le Roux says Edwards

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/27889767

"Defence coach Shaun Edwards said Wales must stop South Africa's Willie le Roux in Saturday's second Test.
The full-back shone in the first Test and Edwards joked that he was thinking of "locking him in the toilet before the game" this time.
"We are going to have to come up with something better than what we did last time because he was absolutely outstanding," he added."

Wales: Robert Jones tips Gareth Davies to oust Mike Phillips

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/27880225

"Gareth Davies should take over from Mike Phillips at scrum-half for Wales in Saturday's second Test against South Africa, says ex-player Robert Jones.

The former British and Irish Lion also believes Matthew Morgan should start at full-back instead of Liam Williams."

Is rhis a test between the Old Age Home? HM have called up Meisiekind. Going backwards and look like settling for the Bulls team tghat won the S14 in 2009.

South Africa v Wales: Welsh will improve - Dan Biggar

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/27882290

"Fly-half Dan Biggar has pledged Wales will "roll their sleeves up" on Saturday in a bid to avenge their opening Test defeat to South Africa.

Wales go into the second Test knowing they have a mountain to climb after coming out very much second best in the 38-16 defeat to the Springboks."

Meyer picks Wynand bloody Olivier on the bench. He has lost his marbles now. What sort of message is he trying to send to young players now? What more has a guy like Jordaan have to do now? How is JJ Engelbrecht suddenly that terrible? Is Olivier better than Sadie? No way.

I get that Fourie, JdeJong, JdV and the angry fella from the Cape are out injured but chance your arm and pick a guy with potential ffs.

Thankfully I won't be able to watch the games so I won't do my eyes damage when I see Olivier run out to claim another farcical cap.

Only other question mark is why in heavens name is Mvovo not starting? he has X factor. Hendricks is reliable military medium and no more.

The Springbok team to face Wales in Mbombela is:
15 Willie le Roux , 14 Cornal Hendricks , 13 JP Pietersen, 12 Jan Serfontein, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Morné Steyn, 9 Fourie du Preez (vice-captain), 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Willem Alberts , 6 Francois Louw , 5 Victor Matfield (captain), 4 Flip van der Merwe , 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Bismarck du Plessis (vice-captain), 1 Tendai Mtawarira
Replacements:
16 Schalk Brits, 17 Gurthrö Steenkamp, 18 Coenie Oosthuizen, 19 Lood de Jager, 20 Schalk Burger, 21 Ruan Pienaar 22 Wynand Olivier ,23 Lwazi Mvovo .

If there was a World Cup for talking big, the Welsh would have a permanent mortgage on it.

Spot on Blue. The Meisiekind selection is a Fucking shocker. You need the younger guys to feed off of the more experienced chaps, this means being in the match 23, running onto the field with 20 to go in a real international match, not holding tacklebags on a Tuesday morning. JJ needed to be selected. When the older chaps finally do retire, SA will be devoid of any senior players who will be able to impart the SA culture/playstyle.

This makes me so angry.

Well not really. It's only rugby.

It irks me. That's better.

Fuck.

Openside????????????
Brussouw, Heinrich Brussouw.

I see the Japan lot, playing S15 rugby not as chicken runners. They do play the most of the season in our stadia and do their bit for the local game.

After this I cant see Brussouw staying, he'll be a goner for ever. Nothing keep him here.

@Blou and I expect some excellent youngsters coming through the ranks in the next two years. BUT they need some experience players at provincial level to lead them. Nowadays they only lead them in the chicken running.

I thought that Brussow may finally be in the frame when HM vexed Mallett by including him in the SA squad to face the world xv, after HM heard that Mallett wanted Brussow for his team.

The fact that he wasnt even included in the 23 was a dick move by HM and his staff imo.

I am still heavily upset about it. Brussouw will be my first pick in any Bok side. He played some excellent rugby all season, in fact now for years but Meyer go with Flo. Its just madness and the reason I dont have any urge to go watch the Bokke. I'll rather walk line and watch schoolboy rugby.

Ja ok but I was selecting NO players that play overseas, even if in Japan.

What I am trying to say is that if we had a policy that said no overseas players then what would a team look like?

Openside is the only position that is a real worry for us.

Cameras all over Willie Le Roux during anthems. Must've gone against every cameraman instinct to film the players with a foxy tanned blonde doing the singing.
