In somewhat relevant news:

News24/Beeld said:
Beeld newspaper reported on Monday that SARU president Oregan Hoskins had sent a message to Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer about having a greater representation of blacks in the national team.
Hoskins said he personally delivered the message to Meyer.
"We need to give black players, specifically 'African blacks', more chances in the team," he told the Afrikaans daily.
"I spoke to the coach and he agreed, the time is right for this.

"I believe we will already see a change or two against Scotland this coming weekend."
"African blacks"? As opposed to AFRICAN-American blacks? European blacks? What kind of black will we be pulling out of our arse suddenly Mr. Hoskins?

It would seem as soon as a coach starts building something good he *absolutely needs to be stymied*!

I reckon we should make the whole team black for the sake of it and keep it that way and see how the revenue goes and how our SANZAR partners react.

Yeah we're fucked. Starting with the fact that it's outside the window, so only those playing for the Glasgow and the Edinbokke can play.

Then you add on a tour that's gone all over. Then you add some nice old injuries to the back row, and the centres. Finally, all of the Commonwealth games squad are not going to be selected. Leaving us with a team looking something like this:

1. Al Dickinson
2. Ross Ford
3. Euan Murray
4. Johnny Gray
5. Grant Gilchrist (c)
6. Rob Harley
7. Chris Fusaro
8. Tyrone Holmes
9. Henry Pyrgos
10. Duncan Weir
11. Tommy Seymour
12. Peter Horne
13. Nick de Luca
14. Sean Maitland
15. Stuart Hogg

16. Pat MacArthur
17. Jon Welsh
18. Geoff Cross
19. Tim Swinson
20. Adam Ashe
21. Grayson Hart
22. Tom Heathcote
23. Peter Murchie/Dougie Fife/whoever else is on the tour

Yeah. Saffa Steamroll incoming...

Handre Pollard straight in. Be a bit wow if they drop him straight into 10. I suppose they will start with the Goose and give him some time. If they are giving Scotland the reverse Bill Wallace they can give him 30 minutes.

BEE - Basically any ethnic group that is not white qualifies, but these chaps specifically want to fill the team with blacks.

Rather than spend money developing the player from a young age, they should now be forced in because the black cannot be proud of its soccer(cannot even qualify for AFCON).

AfriForum is appealing to the IRB to settle this as the governing body does not allow racist policy. So SARU is possibly going to be banned from competing again - full circle in less than 20 years.

Please show me the difference in games played since the last world cup good sir? Additionally, feel free to include your domestic games into that list. Ohh Right.

Sure, since the quarter final RWC match:

Australia: 37
South Africa: 27

That's 10 bloody matches difference. HUGE.

Not sure what you mean by domestic matches? Are you suggesting your TEST players play more rugby than their Australian counterparts domestically?

Australia generally schedules two tests a year more.

This year I think it will only be one more given SA played an extra June test but Australia have the third Bledisloe and a 5th game on the end of year tour.

Nah, never happen. IRB wouldn't have the cajones.

80 minites will seem like a century. Five players in your starting eight forwards have less than ten caps. Five out of seven backs will have less than fifteen caps. Only two players on your bench have more than four caps. If you take the front rows out, Victor Matfield will have double the caps of the rest in total.

Look, there are still some positives in that line-up.

Weir and Horne form a good right/left kicking combination. The other backs are all quite pacy, and should exploit any broken play. It's a strong front row unit, and the Locks are pretty good as well, despite lacking in experience.

But you can't take away from the fact that its a horrendous back row, and that bench is lacking so much experience.
