Not our best performance ever, but not sure what we were supposed to do differently considering the ball was wet because of the rain beforehand, which is a great leveller. We held onto the ball relatively well in those conditions.
We really need to be more brutal at the breakdowns, though. And not as in Bakkies brutal, but rather protecting our own ball with a lot more consistency and vigour. We leave it up to the ball carrier alone all too often, getting them isolated and it's either a turn-over or a penalty to the opposition. If we can be more accurate there, we'll improve our own chances massively.
Pollard's kicking was a worry, really hope he can improve it before the world cup. Lambie will be a more reliable kicker AT THE MOMENT, but will offer less on attack, forever.
