Hopefully. I think my Irish lads are going to miss players like Hugo Keenan, Mack Hansen and in particular Jamison Gibson-Park who has been the standout 9. I think they'll have something to prove, but this South Afirican team is looking as strong as ever.

Ok.. the Kolbe try was crazy. (though I suspect that Lowe might have been in touch there)

Curious on Lowe's taken back call when in goal as he was able to get a (charged down) kick away.

Geez that was a bloody good test. Recorded and just watched, even Mrs Dan couldn't walk away from it. Can watch games like that anyday.

Ireland may well have won if James Lowe was still in Waikato.
Disagree. His only real mistake was that flick back in and tbf that wasn't great kick from Pollard, Lowe had every chance to getting that back if Kolbe hadn't been flying like a bullet.
Another game ruined by stoppages and TMO unnecessarily intervening
Agree. There were a lot of stoppages. Besides serious injuries, what happened to game on.

Disagree on TMO, he only really popped in on the big moments (ie. try or not) which is what we want (well at least most fans seem to).

Good intense battle I thought. There were times where I thought Ireland were just hanging on, but really they could have won that game. The Bokke didn't have it all their own way by any stretch and Ireland at times put some real pressure on them. I give them a massive chance to win the next one.

yikes -7 players of the bok 15 are playing in japan - they are going to keep playing for years. A couple in europe and a few in Hollywood :). Imagine our side if less than half were playing locally....

Was a much messier game than I expected.

Ireland really made a mess of the Bok's ruck at times.

Was a great game though, both impressive sides. Keen for game 2.

Was a great game, disappointed with the result. So can the Boks do it again? Ireland have not lost two games in a row since Feb 2021 when they lost to France and Wales in the 6N.
