I found 3 SA illegalities in this AB tribute video. They kind of jumped out at me!!

47 seconds Schalk Burger illegally takes the man out in the air.
51 seconds Victor Matfield intentionally uses right forearm arm guard to smash Kellehers temple. (Kelleher was concussed and taken off)
55 seconds McCaw was taken out in the air by Botha (but retained possession anyway):)

Bakkies Botha headbutts
Dean Greylings forearm smashes
Jean Deysel trying to cleanout using the neck.

Did SA train for these? Were they a preconceived plan? Why aren't more videos being done on these?
Isn't a player welfare issue?
Is this tiddlywinks?
Are the Boks just good 'ard men?
Where's the outrage?
I am so confused?!?
Am I serious? I don't know.

Ah of course he did...

Our players can't catch a cold when no one is within 10m and Richie can catch the ball when he is tackled upside down in the air.....

I don't think they are a preconceived plan. South Africans play very hard. Sometimes this includes the types of play listed above. Thing is, I would bet that the blokes you named never thought that they were intentionally playing dirty (Ok Bakkies might have). To them, they thought that they were playing hard, and punishing the opposition for a perceived indiscretion.

I must note that I am not being an apologist for this sort of behavior. People rationalise their actions, according to their cultural context. What everyone else sees as wrong the Saffas see as acceptable. Doesn't make the action acceptable though.

Having said that, I think South Africa are being unfairly targeted here. A lot of those examples are taken from guys that no longer play for the Springboks. Every team, at some point or another, indulges in skullduggery.

I thought you were until I heard the Nickelback (???) soundtrack then I realised that this was a massive pisstake. ;)

It helps the viewer experience something similar to cauliflower ears without having to play rugby.

What he is waiting for is for a South African to say something along the lines of "The Springboks aren't the dirtiest team in the world" at which point he will say "people who deny this self-evident truth are delusional - I'm finished with this thread". He's trolling Scarfman, and its a bit marginal, but then again it is also amusing and at the heart of the matter there is a serious point being made regarding people who "know" something to be "so true" that all debate on the subject is pointless.

worst thread ever

I misread the title and thought it was going to be a thread about South African mime.

Seriously guys?? No one will admit what is clearly self-evident to me. I produced a tribute video as my evidence no less. Granted I only focused on who I wanted to , but guys, seriously, everyone KNOWS the Boks are dirtiest side in World rugby. It's self-evident.
Well, that's it. I am done with this educational thread. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a massive troll.

Well, it's not quite on the level of actually making a youtube video to highlight all the (perceived) illegalities of a team (whilst ignoring all the ones by the other side) but it's a start.
