I would give my left nut and a second-born child to get Larkham back on the pitch.

Nope. I think as Aussie rugby we look back too fondly on the past.

I really believe its time to shift Quade into 10 and let Giteau have what is obviously his best position at 12.

I wasn't being serious. I'm just pining for the last non-headless era I can remember.

But Cooper's already at 10 quite a bit - and it isn't improving anything. I don't think all the switching between 10 and 12 is helping Gits or Cooper. I asked for it last week - JOC (James O'Connor) to 12. I only wish Barnes was available. I'd also move AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13. Ioane to wing...Turner/Mitchell to full back.

I still reckon our best bet is Toomora who looks the most composed of the current 5/8s and he can guide a team around the paddock.

Quade has played at 10 most of the time despite the number on his jersey, and would be on the bench if not for Barnes' glass jaw. I hope to see JOC (James O'Connor) improve in next years super 14 and challenge Gits for 12 in the internationals. We need more players to step up and push Gits to worker harder to keep his spot in the team. He is world class but just needs to be brought down a peg. Thank goodness Deans didn't give him the captains armband.

I keep hearing journalists, commentators and bloggers say this, but he isn't showing it. If anything, he's showing he isnt up to it. He couldnt crack the Scottish defence tonight. Last week he couldnt crack the Irish defence (Cooper set up Elsom's try and Mitchell's was from a mistake). His job is to guide the team around the park and unlock opposition defences. I'm a bit bemused actually. He no longer has the Burgess excuse either.

Gits is a ball runner not a ball player I don't know why he feels that he has to be a flyhalf & won't just be an out & out inside centre.

It's almost like he thinks he's not the man unless he has 10 on his back.

gits has been world class but is no where near that now. has been getting shown up by his opposite number consistently. if anything he's been a flat track bully lately, still looking pretty good against the italians, french (in oz), and baa baas. but after this game, can we even say that?

I've been saying the opposite. Gits is shit, has to go, only his goal kicking & need for some stability has been keeping him in the hunt.

He was only considered world class when he was alongside true greats in Larkham and Mortlock.

I watched Worcester v Bath on Setanta earlier today - that bloke Latham looks like he could go quite well in an Aussie jumper. Pretty good full back and dare I say better than most other options as well. But then I remembered that stupid rule that says if a player wants to look after his future earnings and pick up some easy money overseas then he shall not be considered for test selection.

I just want to see what happens should Deans have the temerity to drop Giteau. I don't think it will be prewtty but it will probably be very effective and moreso could bring out the real Giteau

Bring back Larkham, please. I almost cried when I saw Larkham crying after RWC 07

Does anyone remember a couple of years ago commentators were calling for Gits to be moved to 10 so he could get more ball. Now they are clling for him to be moved to 12 so he can get more space so that he can be effective. Could it be that he isn't up to test rugby?
