Let's keep it constructive... any suggestions for what's needed?

First thing...next week vs Wales.

Nathan Sharpe to captain the side in his final game. We play with our heads held high and we don't self destruct in the same way that England has done after they got bundled out.

Onwards and upwards. Everyone's been talking up Wales as the young guns; we have a very young squad as well. Let our players get more experience, grow into their positions and build on the established combinations.

Post Lions tour, we could be the team that beat us tonight.

Barnes and Horne in the centres, play what we do best, attacking rugby.

Yeah, I mean we just don't have enough in the midfield to threaten anyone with both McCabe and Ant. Strong defensively, too predictable in attack. Although we didn't get much ball, Robbie really got it wrong tonight with that selection.

Well there are some good players that have come through with deans but I really question whether he is the one to take us forward. Seems like Henry out thinks him for all the important games.

As for the team more generally, Cooper will be off to league. May be barnes moving forward. Lot of good young players in the team and you would think they would be better in four years. O'Connor, Beale, Horne(if he can stay fit), pocock, genia, Simmons (who plated pretty well off the bench today). But really need to find some centres who can play rather than just crash tackle (not that that isn't useful as part of a broader set of skills). And front rowers.

Barnes and Horne in the centers definitely agree with that.

How many times was Fiangaa out of position in defense (cost us the frist try) and miss tackles. McCabe has a big heart but doesn't bring much else to the game.

If Deans doesn't go then Jim Williams must. Our forwards have never been great scrumaggers but at least we were good around the park & had a good lineout.

a) find a new coach
b) develop players to play in their position. Loose, Tight, Inside, Outside. Not just players that can a bit of everything. The last real 13 we had was Mortlock.
c) fix the set piece
d) develop depth in every position

A couple of things
a) Sack the coaching staff. At least Deans and Williams. We've made very little progress from 2007. In fact, we've probably gone worse.
b) Select forwards strong in the set piece. Should be a no-brainer, but we've lost countless games on poor scrums/line-outs. No point in having a great backline if we can't secure our own ball from set-pieces.
c) See above. It is that important
d) Implement a game plan. Anything at all. I want to be able to see some sort of structure.

Where to from here? Clone pocock or alternatively, poach the biggest and baddest South african junior forwards we can find. OUr guys just can't win the tackle contest or the metre over the ruck against the blacks.

We have a gameplan. But we need more than one and we need the onfield nous to switch them. And to execute them properly. Get our confidence back to play with some variety as well, I think we had gameplans that we stuck to waaay too religiously and conducted them badly. Today was brought to you by "earn the right to go wide" and "contestable kicks". Good ideas, badly executed.

And yes, fuck ballrunning props. Pick the best TH scrummager, best LH scrummager and work the set pieces in training like mad.

#1 Find the hardest ugliest scrum coach in the world, hire him and set up a scrum school.
#2 Come up with a game plan that gives the 5/8 some one to pass to that isn't going to hit it up.
#3 don't pick two centres with exactly the same skills set.
#4 Australian rugby supporters need to harden up and stop whining like South Africans

Attempting to be constructive:

1 Appoint a fine youngish Australian coach - preferably an ex forward
2 tell Cooper to sign for four years or wish him good luck elsewhere.
3 Assuming that Quade's puppet master says no to 2 (above) install Beiber at 10 after shaving his head and breaking his nose constructively.
