At least Care is kicking fairly poorly too

12Trees still looks out of his depth after double digit caps

Big problems for wales at half back. Priestland is not international standard and Webb was exposed in way that everyone said he would be. But main problem is that they don't run the ball from the off. Orcs did and got clear as a result

The kicking tactics mean were always going to be playing catch up. Teams were pretty even. Tactically we were out thought and out played

Right. Well Ireland are going to have to win in France to stop the din from the poodle press proclaiming England as rwc favourites. I'll watch the scots game just to see if cement changes the method. Otherwise it's Back to watching subbies for me. Should be good. new irrigation system. hac pitch looks a treat

Wales half backs are so poor they'll struggle to get out of their World Cup group if a new 9 and 10 pair don't emerge. What is Gatland/Howleys obsession with kicking the ball away as well? Gatland's tactics have been really poor this championship and they'll need to shake it up for the Scottish game, I'd be testing out a few new tight heads for a start.

England look they are building a decent side, still not capable of winning the World Cup but probably the strongest NH team at the moment. Lancaster has built them into something a lot stronger than they look on paper.

Don't think there's anything wrong with Biggar having a run at 10, he played well in last season's 6N & playing well for the Osprey's. Gats just seems to have a boner for Priestland which amazes me, he's not been in form since the RWC.

I think England will have a really good tilt at the 2019 RWC IF Lancaster keeps his job after next year. They've got a great core to their team and when they can replace the likes of Hartley with players of better quality than Youngs they'll be a tough game for anyone.

Also once they have a established set of wings then they'll be more dangerous. Nowell doesn't look that convincing and May has blown two tries by not backing himself. He got off the hook today as 12Trees kick was spot on for Burrell.

Having said all that I wouldn't be surprised if the English media and here I refer to the soccer obsessed red top rags cost Lancaster his if he "fails" to deliver a RWC win. Then there will be a call for the appointment of a national hero type figure ala Martin Johnson who'll destroy all Lancaster's good work. Then the rags will go back to speculating about which reality tv celebrity is sleeping with a married Premiership footballer.

As for Wales tactic of kicking it's even more ridiculous when you look at their team. Halfpenny apart there isn't a decent out of hand kicker in the team to deliver a kicking game.

I was very surprised that North kicked away that chance when the simple draw and pass was a guaranteed try. He's such a fantastic player that you expect him to do the right thing every time. Conversely with Preistland I expect him to get things wrong most of the time. Wales definitely need to find a new 10. Biggar and Hook are both better options.

Overall their halfback options aren't that great and they could result in them going out in the pool stages at the RWC. Either way a pretty good team is going to go out in that pool and I'd want my coach to be improving on the weak areas of the team rather than sticking with favourites.

As an outsider Gatland's reign is beginning to resemble that of Declan Kidney post 2009.

I agree that the next RWC is going to come too soon for England. I would be worried that their scrum could implode but the new regulations which have worked very well in this six nations IMHO mean that a weak scrum won't cost you a game. I think Patchell will come into the reckoning for Wales next year as long as he recovers from his injury, Priestland is woeful. Anyway, fairly tight result, still Ireland's tournament to lose, hope Parisse is back fit for the Italians, can't see them shipping fifty points at home but you never know.
