I'm worried that too many of the reported Rebels 'wish list' are based on publicity rather than actual rugby ability at the moment.
By which I largely mean Barnes and Morto. Of course, Morto might just be playing possum at the moment to preserve himself for the Rebels. :fishing

They gotta take Kingi from the Reds. He'll be stuck behind genia for years otherwise. The ideal situation would be to take an average 9 like Lucas as well (ideally not Lucas he's a good back-up for the reds) have him start at the begining of the season with kingi off the bench. After kingi gets some experience by the end of season he'll be starting and killing it.
Also think they should take either Turner, Mitchell, Nadolo from the Tahs, in order for Nadolo to finally get a go at super 14 level. I hope Barnes stays at the tahs.
Would be good if they make To'omua they're starting 10. As long as Gits and Lealiifano stays at the brumbies. Actually i wouldnt even mind if they took gits and left the brumbies with To'omua and lealiifano, as long as they didnt take anyone else eg Rocky, alexander, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).

Mate Gits and Kingi just signed deals this year so there not going anywhere.
Kingi is an immense talent but it would be in his best interests to sit behind Genia and learn his trade for at least another couple of seasons.
Lucas is a good footballer and will probably make the move south I would have thought.
As mentioned earlier it would be great to see Blake, Salvi, Beau Robinson, Gasnier, Brock James, MMM all back in Aus in whatever jersey.

and i'd like to see all those guys back as well. they may not turn out to be stars in the super14 or even wallaby contenders, but they would certainly build depth which is something we're lacking. more options is never a bad thing (unless they end up clogging the path of actually up-and-comers).
and a bunch of those guys are pretty experienced. there's something to be said for the mentoring role they could play with younger players.

The Reds also have an abundance of good, young outside backs - Ioane, Davies, Morahan, Chambers, Toua, Sitauti plus Feuai still in his last year of school, and then there's fringe players like Connor. As sad as it is for the Reds, I'd expect them to lose some to Melbourne or elsewhere. Would be good to see some getting a run frequently though.
Good S14 Australian hookers are thin on the ground right now, so I'd expect there to be some competition for at least one of the Tahs three hookers.

Who do you rate as a player - I have only ever read negative posts from your end and it's tiring.
Just out of curiosity who do you think is a good footballer?
Also Gasnier has shown everyone what potential he has by being an outstanding rugby league player with all the skills. He has developed well in a short time - playing rugby that is not conductive of an expansive game. Your comment about him 'just holding' down a spot it rubbish. He has missed under 5 games since he has been there and been fit and has played in almost every position in the backline.

What about the various Waratah locks/6s. Dennis, Mumm, Caldwell, Mowen, Roodt, plus those other two. Rebels can get some of them.
