Shute Shield 2023

May as well get this one off the ground.

The Students probably deserve to go into the season as favourites as per usual with Norths not far behind. Something about the Rats toward the end of the year had a feeling they are building. Might depend on some of their veterans coming back.

Gordon seem to have a steady group in 1st grade after rolling down hill into the GF last year.

Hope we continue to see Hunter climb.

It sounds as though the Woodies are on track to move to the Hills District. I hope there will be some publicity after the annual meeting.

So what does the Shute Shield Table look like in 9 months time, seeing as we have given Southern Districts the Wooden Spoon.
Hurts to say but Uni go in heavy favourites. I think Easts could be the big challengers. Plenty of Tahs squad members like Wilson & Bowen at 9/10 will help. Eastwood, Norths, Warringah in the next group. Gordon, Randwick, Hunter, Western Sydney to compete for the last finals spot. Know nothing about Manly except they fell into an absolute pile by the end of last year. West Harbour and Southern to round out the bottom.

Did just see Max Jorgenson has his Club listed as Randwick. Could be quite exciting. Hopefully he plays a lot. Will only make him a better player for the Tahs
