Is this thread for colts as well or just High Grade footy? Got down to easts to watch the colts games but unfortunately couldn't get to coogee to watch the 1st Grade.

There's been a few upsets this season. Some of the top teams may need to keep an eye out

Gutsy win against the odds by the Marlins. I hate to criticise match officials, but the referee was not up to the job. The worst decision was the final Eastwood try, which would have been okay in basketball.

And the 2 blues juggernaut rolls on. Didnt lose a game in grade to souths.
any idea if this momentum is attracting players back to the club as the season builds.
Hunter over Randwick also a good result for the comp.

I managed to catch the first half of that game. Looked like the Wicks had begun to take the initiative in that one. So it's interesting to see that Hunter who look a much better outfit this season came back to win it. I find the Hunter experience interesting and it makes me wonder if the likes of the Illawarra could emulate them. It has taken a few seasons for them to find their feet but they currently sit mid table which is an achievement in itself. Could the likes of the Illawarra with the same opportunity and time do likewise?
