Unfortunately loss for MMM,
Marlin scored 3 tries to 2 so a tight one, and both sides could possibly say they could have converted more to win.

Souths game plan was basic, retain possession and cross the add line and they did it well.
Think that would have been a win at home.

I did rate Souths this year, all grades were very tight, should be an awesome season.

Pretty close HJ. Randwick won 25-20 but I understand it was 20-20 with about a minute to go.
Please try to be more accurate next time ;)
Parra very unlucky- their defense was much better than last year - Wicks have lots of rock stars however there seems to be a lack of desire to do the tough stuff.
Parra will win a few if they keep that form. Wicks won't.

Was super impressed with seeing TPN running as lines man for the lower grades today , at MRSL rugby park. For the full games !

As well as retrieving the odd over the fence ball. Cast on the arm and all.

A true club man. Made me proud to be a Two Blues supporter and volunteer.

Couldn't agree more Wazza -- he's a class act and I don't think he'll ever forget where he came from and what he owes to the TBs and the SS.
I spoke to him at half time in the 3rd grade and thanked him for running the line. His response "just trying to help out" :)
He also went out of his way to thank the mother of a young kid who he took under his wing as an impromtu ball boy.

2016 Gregor George Cup (Club Championship) Watch:

There are a maximum of 215 points available to a club each week, based on all 7 club teams winning with a 4 try BP and the target to win is >3000 points which was achieved by 3 clubs in 2014 and the 2015 winner was on 2905 points. In 2014 the difference between 1st and 2nd was only 33 points, with 3rd only 52 points further back. In 2015 there was only 49 points between 1st and 2nd, with 3rd place 113 points further back.

Gordon, 215 points
Randwick, 207 points
Northern Suburbs, 204 points
Sydney University, 173 points
Southern Districts, 162 points
Eastern Suburbs, 137 points
Warringah, 112 points
Eastwood, 88 points
Manly, 65 points
West Harbour, 16 points
Parramatta, 15 points
Penrith, 0 points

How the Club Championship table is calculated.
The competition points from the individual competitions are multiplied by the following factors and then added together.
First Grade - 15
Second Grade - 8
Third Grade - 5
Fourth Grade - 4
Colts 1 - 6
Colts 2 - 3
Colts 3 - 2

The 49 point difference between Gold and Silver in 2015 could have been made up from an extra 3 BP in Shute Shield and an extra BP in 4th Grade, or an extra victory with a BP in 2nd Grade and an extra BP in Colts 1 and Colts 2.

The NSWRU website appears to be still awarding a bonus point for 4 tries.
Is that correct or is the SS supposed to be using the same BP system as Super Rugby ie BP if you score 3 tries more than the opposition?

Pretty sure that the SRU Competition Rules haven't changed with respect to the 4T BP and the loss by <7 BP.

Will see if I can get a copy of the latest rules from my usual source to confirm.

Pretty sure this doesn't include all Gordon's points.
