1 hour??? What happened?
Ale a compound fracture to the leg. 2 ambulances and they didn't want to move him until an orthopaedic surgeon arrived.
Full time at 5.40pm. Manly 37-29.

Jesus sounds bad. From a tackle? Hope he got a shitload of painkillers.
Good news and all, but I can't quite get my head around why Sony would do this. Are people going to buy a Guy Sebastian album because the record label is sponsoring a rugby comp?
Tackled just short of the line as he was running full tilt. Fell awkwardly and tackler landed on his leg.
EDIT: All players from both sides gathered around and gave him a round of applause as he was being loaded into the ambulance. Nice touch from the Rats players. The spirit of rugby lives.
Just watching the 7mat footage - ugly.Game stopped at 28:54 minutes in the telecast if you have recorded it.
Terrible looking injury to Kotoni Ale. His season will be over, and his presence will be missed on field for the MMM.
Series linked recordings will only show the match until 4 minutes into the second half before they timed out.
Crowd reported at 7000. MMM supporter and NSW Premier Mike Baird was watching the match at the Village Green.
Surprised 7TWO went beyond 5pm. Maybe the ratings are decent?
Has anyone worked out if it can be seen off the internet the following day, and can provide the link.Added to the flexibility that goes with being on the 2nd channel. No news committments to worry about - just push things back a little. They got plenty of adds in during the injury break and a few good interviews as well.
Full marks to Channel 7.

The "green whistle". I have used one myself. Bloody magic, and self administered once you have it in your hands. The ambos would've administered pain relief (analgesia)
