Better with the margins last week except for a pretty poor prediction on the Beasts BuildCorp Bowral Bonanza but still picked 5/6 winners.

Round 3 Preview
Randwick v Warringah (Friday 3 April). Rats are not quite the package they were last year, but still will be too strong for the Wicks and will win comfortably by 10-15 with a 4t BP.

Parramatta v Northern Suburbs (Friday 3 April) - Mighty 2 Blues at home will be a tough gig for the Shoremen but they should win the game in the 20 minutes before and after oranges. Red and Black by 10-15.

Eastern Suburbs v Manly - Beasties were the surprise package last week but may not have the ability to lift again to take on one of the favourites for 2015. MMM by 15-20.

Gordon v Sydney University - BuildCorp will be troubled by the Gay Gordons (It's a Traditional Scottish Country Dance not a Homophobic slur) who will fancy their chances after the Bowral Boilover but BuildCorp will be keen to atone. This will be a tight one with the visitors securing it in the last 10 minutes. Uni by 7-10.

Penrith v Southern Districts - Hobbits by lots. Their kickoff receipt pattern will get a solid workout as they cruise to a > 50 point victory.

Eastwood v West Harbour - Woodies are continuing their fine form from 2014 and will not be troubled by the Pirates. Woodies by 20+

Should have said. Rats are not quite the package they were last year, but still will NOT be too strong for the Wicks and will NOT win comfortably by 10-15 with a 4t BP.

Weird game -- Rats dominated 1st half possession and camped in the Wicks red zone but Wicks lead 26-0 at half time by capitalising on the Rats mistakes. More even in the 2nd half with Rats running in some late tries to make the score a bit more respectable.
Horwitz has improved by a huge amount since last year -- his knockers need to have another think and Auvasa is a revelation at 1/2. Talakai strong again in the front row and Asa getting more involved as his fitness builds. Johnson and Baldwin huge work rates. Kellaway shows his class every time he gets the ball and Tom Coupland looks better every week. Still don't think the Wicks will worry Eastwood or Manly, but should have a good year if they can keep this team fit and keep improving. Good to see the Wicks coaching staff looking after Latu Latinipulu by resting him after about an hour each week -- the 18 YO needs time to adapt from school boy rugby.

Councils are usually fairly quick to close grounds when there is some liquid sunshine about.

Rather wet at Chez Jarse ATM. What games are still going ahead today and what grounds have been closed?

6 June (Long Weekend) has been set aside for the wet weather catch up round.
