Quick Hands
David Wilson (68)
He jumped so high in the lineout that you could be excused for thinking he was being lifted.
An amazing jumper. He used to practice jumping and clapping his hands over the cross bar of the posts.

Any concerns that the Penrith Emus may have been uncompetitive or worse may have been addressed yesterday at the Lake Macquarie 7s. They made the final & had some solid wins over top teams on the way through. It was only 7s however they obviously have a solid base to work with - perhaps they might surprise a few which would be great.

Yes,but who won? After being very unlucky not to go to the break 2 tries apiece, the Emu's were blown off the park when fatigue set in.
Kudos to the Emus for claiming the scalp of what is basically the NSW side.
Thanks.I understood that Penrith didn't win,but I don't see any mention of who they were playing against.Sorry,I must have been clear enough when I wrote that Penriff was blown off the park when fatigue set in.
It finished up 50-7 ish to the Rats.
A month away from 2015 round 1, and the NSW RU website has still has a 2013 media guide, and 2014 club previews on it.

At least the 2015 draw is up, and it looks like all clubs will be fielding 7 teams, 4 Grade and 3 Colts.

There is at least one night game - Wicks vs The Corporation at Uni #1 oval (Round 7 - 2 May), and a smattering of "Super Saturdays" where all teams play at the one venue, with the lower grades using the back (or nearby) oval.
Eastern Suburbs topping the Ladder in all Grades.
Understand the Eastwood (Sydney) prop Guy Millar will arive in Perth this week on a training contract. He had an excellant season for the Sydney premiers in 2014, and completed all games for the Rams in the NRC, winning much praise. I saw him take the QU TH apart in the National Club championship game in Sydney last weekend. He is a massive unit and (as seems required by Force) was born in South Africa. Eastwood may feel a little dispirited as their whole starting front row from last years GF has gone to Super XV clubs. (Just how it should be however)
Hope so but I'd love confirmation.I have heard that channel 7's digital channel 7Mate will be picking up the Schute shield this year
