The dominance of the Students has ended, at least for the first time in 10 years, The Corporation did not contest the Shute Shield Grand Final.

Will they be back in 2015?

Will the Mighty Manly Marlins make amends? They are close to becoming known as the All Blacks of Sydney Rugby.

There will be changes in Coaching panels: Phil Blake has finished with the Marlins, and Wade Kelly has left the Wicks. What other changes will there be?

Players have retired or headed overseas.
There is some exciting talent coming out of the Colts programmes. Will they be able to cement places in First Grade for 2015?

Will NRC arrangements encourage some players to change clubs for 2015?

All will be revealed in March 2015, until then - wang on.

Is Matt Briggs leaving Wests that surprising? The Pirates seem to change coaches every season. Any word on who will take over from Kelly at Randwick? Did he leave voluntarily or did he get the punch as I thought he was doing fairly well.

Any word on who Blake's replacement will be at Manly?

Matt Briggs had 2 years at Wests.Joe Barraket had 5 years there previously.

Joe finished there over 10 years ago - last couple of years it has been a revolving door. Briggs having two years from memory was an exception.

Your memory may be better than mine,but as I recall it,Joe Barrakat coached there for 5 years until 2005,then it was Matt Williams 2006-7,Stuart Woodhouse 2008-2010,
Andrew Cox 2011,Daniel Manu 2012 & part 2013 together with Matt Briggs 2013-2014.John Lomax was head coach in 2012 & 2013.If that is correct,then I don't think
that West Harbours coachs' stats are significantly different to those of most other clubs.

Officially he was only appointed for 2 years and he decided not to seek an extension. I haven't heard any rumours to the contrary.

The mail is the new coaching set up for the Marlins as opposed to a straight replacement of Blakey will be announced at the presentation night on Friday.

The Students start pre season in two weeks time. The Corporation will be hungrier than ever to bring the Shute Shield back to Uni oval 1.
