I like to watch

Eastwood will flog the Riff
Manly by plenty over Easts
Norths by +10 over Gordon
Randwick in a close one v parra
Souths home ground advantage will get them home over the Rats in the game of the round.
Wests are my sneaky bet of the round over Uni.

Lane is overrated.
Watch him closely and you would be surprised at how little he contributes.
I've been a big fan of Bergelin, but he has not been at his most effective this year.
The arrival of Neville will paper over a lot of cracks I think.

We killed the Manly forwards in a finals match, was it last year, or the year before, they had both Neville and Jones in their starting XV. Jones did okay. Neville was M.I.A.

Lane is a good link.

Tipped 5/6 last week and was pretty close on the margins, except for the coin toss match of Woodies v MMM and the coin lied to me.

Round 14 Tips
Eastwood v Penrith. Woodies will win by an extremely large margin. Expect to see some top end Colts and 2nd Grade folk get a start in First Grade and they will still be comfortable victors.

Manly v Eastern Suburbs. Unlike their Colts, there has been a lot promised but little delivered from the Beasties this year. Regardless, they reserve the right to surprise, which they did last year against the Woodies but I cant see that happening. MMM will be keen to right their ship after they were well and truly spanked by the Woodies last week, and they will also be keen to prove that the impressive showing by the Beasts agains them in round 3 was a fluke. MMM by >25.

Northern Suburbs v Gordon. Last time these two met Gordon snuck home by two points, but the Shoremen seem to be carrying better form into this match and have a good record of defending North Sydney Oval. Look out for the Parking Police & probably best to take public transport to the game. Norths by 7-12.

Randwick v Parramatta. The heart says M2B who are at home and it is back to Parra day, but after the young bucks in Green spanked the M2B by a very large margin at Coogee Oval, the head says that the Gallopers will gallop all over Merrylands RSL Park in the direction of the tryline for a comfortable victory. The bigger question may be has the run of bad luck ended for Brogan Roods and the TAB have him at 3/2 to finish the game injury free. Expecting to hear good reports about the NSW Famous 2Blues Burger, $10 for The Lot and the delicious fish kebabs. Randi-Wix by 20+.

Southern Districts v Warringah. (Shown Live on Channel 7Two). Rightly this is the TV game and it should be a cracker with both teams carrying good form into the game, but the Hobbits at home are stout defenders of The Shire and they should be too strong up front, particularly in the loose for the Rats. They Rats faithful would be well advised to check the validity of their passports as they will be needed to be checked by Homeland Security and Immigration Control at the Narrabeen Bridge, Roseville or The Spit Bridge, Harbour Bridge or Tunnel and the Tarren Point Bridge (both ways). The Hobbits by 12-17.

Sydney University v West Harbour. The Pirates are looking good at the moment and probably should be higher than 8th on the ladder. They were quite clinical in putting the Corporation away in their first meeting this year, but with Kingston and Jeloudev back in Blue and Gold, the Corporation are probably a different beast this time around and may have a little too much pace in the Hairdressing department. It will be close and could go either way as the Corporation look a bit vulnerable in the engine room, but I thought that last week and look what happened at Woollahra. BuildCorp by 7-12.

Home Town Rules.

Anyone know when the Sevens players become unavailable again?

Has been good to see them released like old days again instead of being denied the chance to play 15's.

Greg Jeloudev turned out for The Corporation last weekend.

Michael Wells - Northern Suburbs, Alex Gibbon - Southern Districts, Afa Pakalani - Southern Districts, and Paul Asquith - Southern Districts have also played a few Shute Shield games.

Peter Schuster - Northern Suburbs is named for his Club this weekend.

What about the rest of the Sydney based Aussie 7's boys?
Ed Jenkins - Sydney Uni
Sam Myers - Northern Suburbs
Cameron Clark - Northern Suburbs
Only 3 missing in action. Possibly resting injuries?

I haven't seen him play a notable 15s match in 4+ years. Has to be the case. The three 7s players for Souths certainly add a lot to their backline and when all are playing they probably have the pick of the backlines in the comp but when Volavola leaves that could leave a big hole for them.

Yes but when do they become unavailable? I read something a while back saying they were only available for a certain period? Wells isn't playing this weekend by the looks of it (could be an injury)?

It has to stop. Demeaning for the heroic troops at Emu Park. F*ck Eastwood and every other team that does that to them, including Uni. Readjust your teams to make it closer you aresholes!! What point is served?

Nope. Either kick Penrith out or let them play properly.

Warringah were super impressive. Dark horses?
