Nice photo Dave, you did well to crop out the dirty big cricket pitch in the middle of the oval!

It used to be a real mud-heap, back in the good old, bad old, days. I remember playing there for my school (Fort Street) against Manly High, ankle deep in mud.

The local wisdom was that it was worst when the tide was in!

Yeah I remember some shocking ovals many years ago, gee either we don't get the rain we use to or drainage is a heap better. I remember chatswood oval being ankle deep all over at a guess 25 years ago

One of the good guys of Sydney Rugby will make his 200th for the Highlanders this weekend at Chatswood. Well done Terry.

Looks like the radar (to fly under) has moved from Coogee to Manly

Quite arvo with the ladies enjoying the festivities at Manly - that's all that happened today. Great work putting it all together.

I got the saucer in the photo for you coach, a good crowd was flyer under there today whilst watching the local juniors run around.

People were probably right to gripe about 7Two not playing Manly v Eastwood, but that West Harbour v Uni game was a good watch.

It was. Great effort by Wests, and also kudos to Tom Carter for his gracious after-match interview.

Glad I did not have to suffer through the Woodies' humiliation!

Well done, Dave. I have not seen the game, but am not all that surprised.

Could be, should be, your year.

No of course not, Manly would've probably won anyway but smashed them. I think Uni are a better side than Wests regardless of their improvement.

So Manly & Wests only won because Eastwood & Uni were recovering from last weeks game.Manly are undefeated & Wests have won 4 on the trot.I would have thought that suggests that they might deserve
a little more credit.
I'll run with qwerty, woodies must have been tired, and MMM need to keep building.

Terrible tipping round. Only 3/6 (MMM, M2B and Rats).

Tipped MMM to win but never expected a thrashing, reminiscent of the touch up the Beasties gave the Woodies last year at TG Millner.
