Yes agree good match up, and this player could do no worst by going to gordon with these coaches, would be good for him I think
Its official as Grier is now listed on the Gordon website as assistant coach. Coaching is about the cattle that you have at your disposal, sounds harsh but an element of truth there. Gordon should have committed solid players so with that core group, they should go well considering they don't stress on the return of S15 players for end of season results as much as say a Uni or Rats etc. Time will tell.Yes agree good match up, and this player could do no worst by going to gordon with these coaches, would be good for him I think
Will the points system work next year?
How will the points system work for any Darkness imports? Are there similar "penalties" for S15, Provincial rep players applying to any Darkness or PI imports as apply to ARU rep players?
Would hardly seem fair if a bloke like Frewen (ITM Cup Canterbury centre) could play for a TNSS club without points penalty to the club.
What will be the impact if any of RWC on TNSS 2011?
I suppose the influx of rockstars in the final few rounds will be reduced.
This must bode well for the non-traditional strongholds.
Will Wicks and Uni even make the finals next year?
Is ture I know a rats player who has been asked to move over with Grier
Tim Lane to coach at Manly as he did in the 90's and won the premiership.
No mention of assistants yet but Daniel Manu is favoured.
that 1997 team was awesome. Try to find Willie O's hit on Staniforth in the GF. Hopefully with all his international experience he will be able to help improve the Marlins.
I can confirm that the points apply no matter which country that you play Super Rugby for.
The Manly spin on Brame is that he's moving because he would get more time in 1st Grade at Norths because of rising star Michael Hooper at Manly.
I don't have the particulars but it appears that the moves for a combined Canberra tem participating in the Shute Shield is gaining pace and is now in the hands of the gods (read JON)
Does anyone else have any more pertinent or update info on this??
Are the Vikings getting set for yet another daliance in the Sydney Comp? If so hopefully they'll become a permanent fixture.
