Relocating to the GC mid-week for the main events of the trip being father-in-law's 80th birthday dinners (Wednesday for immediate family, Saturday open to whoever rsvp's in time).

In the event our apartment doesn't have Stan, is the game likely to be on 9 or their second channel? Pretty close to the Surf Club so I'll watch it there if need be.

Pressure is all on the Evil Empire. The top seed having to defend their 30-0 record against some blokes with a losing season record.

Time to load up the 6-2 or even 7-1 bench and get absolutely stuck in and batter them. Even if we lose, we'll take 'em down with us.

Looks like it's wet & cold all week down CheeChee ways. Also the possibility of a sou'wester to put a nice evening chill factor into the mix on Friday. Killdozer could get bogged & crew hypothermic.

NEVER.

The blood of destiny will boil the Blues brainhive as The Prophecy beckons. Ergo visa visor The Killdozer is history's greatest self-perpetuating killing machine.

Only the tears of a Cantab can briefly cool its great engine the tears of a Cantab generate steam pressure points in the Killdozer akin to the energy generated by Krakatoa's nuts exploding on the ballsack of Mt Vesuvius.

Feel like if one were to graph @Dismal Pillock's feelings* viz a viz Loss Bleus & show it to a roller-coaster builder they'd be like "are you fucking insane? No way I'm building that you dumb mo-fo".

* And that's just this season.

Yeah but... It's the end of the roller coaster. You know, the bit with the insane downhill ride...

into the -9G water obstacle to end the rush.

CRUSADERS (1-15): George Bower, Codie Taylor, Fletcher Newell, Scott Barrett, Antonio Shalfoon, Ethan Blackadder, Tom Christie, Christian Lio-Willie, Noah Hotham, Rivez Reihana, Sevu Reece, David Havili (c), Braydon Ennor, Chay Fihaki, Will Jordan

Replacements: George Bell, Kershawl Sykes-Martin, Seb Calder, Jamie Hannah, Cullen Grace, Kyle Preston, James O'Connor, Dallas McLeod

BLUES (1-15): Joshua Fusitu'a, Ricky Riccitelli, Marcel Renata, Patrick Tuipulotu (c), Laghlan McWhannell, Adrian Choat, Dalton Papali'i, Hoskins Sotutu, Finlay Christie, Beauden Barrett, Caleb Clarke, AJ Lam, Rieko Ioane, Mark Tele'a, Zarn Sullivan

Replacements: Kurt Eklund, Jordan Lay, Angus Ta'avao, Josh Beehre, Anton Segner, Sam Nock, Harry Plummer, Cole Forbes

Referee: James Doleman
Assistant Referees: Paul Williams, Fraser Hannon
TMO: Richard Kelly

No Williams significantly relieves the scrum pressure. Still, could be close to 80 minute games for the starting props to be safe. Zarn Sullivan has materialised form the aether, so there will be plenty of kicking to be had. Which is hardly surprising.

And no Gardner reffing, RIP.

EDIT: Thought we legitimately may have seen a Blues 6-2 bench split. But I now see Cam Christie is listed injured meaning we don't have the personnel available for it.

Is Corey Evans injured?

I thought he has been performing well enough to be on the bench with Zarn coming back.
